Real heroes do exist: An Alabama farmer in rural DeKalb County secretly paid the pharmacy bills of those unable to pay, or without insurance, for years. And it was only after his death on New Year’s Day that the full story of what Hody Buford Childress had done came to light. For about a decade, Childress walked into the pharmacy, at the first of every month, with a folded up $100 bill. His only instruction – use the money for anyone who couldn’t afford their prescriptions, and don’t tell where the help came from. Those who knew him are establishing a Hody Childress fund to continue the practice. A real life hero. Rest in peace.
Karmatic headline: “Vegan Activist Gets Head Stuck in Slaughter Line at Factory Farm, Nearly Decapitated.” According to a press release by the Sonoma County District Attorney, two to three hundred protesters were bused to the [California] farm that morning and illegally entered the farm grounds. A smaller group headed for the processing line where they stopped a conveyor belt, removed the ducks and used bike locks to attach themselves to the conveyer belt. Unfortunately, the belt was switched back on by someone and it moved as protesters were still attached. In the handout video provided by animal rights group Condition One, protesters scream for the belt to be stopped. One man can be seen, his face turning red seemingly struggling to breathe, in distress. I know I’m not supposed to take joy in the trials of others, but I’m still laughing.
Posted without comment: California cops shoot dead double amputee, 36, as he tries to run away from them on his stumps: Police department says officers feared he was going to ‘throw his knife at them’. The three cops from Huntington Park Police Department were filmed firing at least eight shots at the 36-year-old father-of-two. His family say he lost the lower halves of his legs recently after an altercation with police in Texas.
Loraina Bobbitt, where are you: The Mobile Police Department (MPD) responded to a call Monday that male genitalia had been found at an Alabama gas station. Witnesses found the human penis in the parking lot of a gas station located at the corner of Navco Road and McVay Drive after 6:00 am. The police are not investigating the incident as a murder or assault. The MPD believes the penis belongs to a motorcycle driver who was involved in a fatal accident on the nearby interstate, according to a statement obtained. First question, how the hell did it end up in the gas station parking lot if the accident was “nearby”?
Needed information for everyone: Congress just voted to exempt themselves from the irs auditing their personal finances to “keep the country stable”. WHAT? This is what a blunt force takeover looks like. This is meant to hide bribes (campaign donations), theft, and financial shenanigans. There are no checks or balance.
