Yes, they are listening: According to a recent report, a bug in Google Home smart speakers allowed for the installation of a backdoor account that could be used to control the device and access its microphone feed. In short, hackers could take over Google’s devices to spy on users by listening in on their conversations. And don’t forget, your “Ring” has already agreed to allow police to access all your feed. They are listening, and watching.
New year, just like the last year: A rookie NYPD officer was stabbed in the head Saturday night near Times Square amid New Year’s Eve celebrations. A second NYPD officer was struck with a pipe or a blunt object. The suspect was shot by police and taken into custody. A high-level police source claims that the suspect was being watched by the FBI’s counterterrorism task force in the weeks leading up to Saturday’s attack. The source also said the suspect recently converted to Islam and a tipster claimed he had expressed interest in going to Afghanistan. Why is it these people are “known” but never seem to be stopped? Just asking.
Make you go hummm: I watched every episode of Leah Remini’s “Scientology and the Aftermath (2016-2019). Often during the show, the absence of the wife of Scientology “leader” David Miscavige was commented upon. Remini ofter questioned and asked why wasn’t she in public for several years. To my knowledge, she still hasn’t been seen. Now he can’t be found. Process servers visited 10 Church of Scientology properties and have made 27 attempts to serve Miscavige but have been unable to locate him. Maybe he ascended. (snark snark)
How many headlines did you see on this: The Jan. 6 committee dropped its subpoena of former President Donald Trump on Wednesday. When the subpoena was issued, it was front page banner headline in every msm in the country. It spelled the ‘end of Trump”. Dropped, well not so much news. In fact, almost none. Because, well you know, it’s the narrative man. The narrative.
A sign? The first thing I see Monday morning.
