I’ve said this before: Once again Tulsi Gabbard is showing what an incredible chameleon she can be. She was a full on Democrat when she was in Hawaii politics. After she left office, she started appearing on the “conservative” Fox talk shows. Recently she was pictured at a rifle range. Now she is leading the charge against the fbi and its “leaks”. While in office Gabbard missed the majority of votes, including several she authored and promoted. She dropped out of the House of Representatives to run for President, dropped out of the race, and is now trying to convince everyone she is a moderate. And is no longer a demorat. Like I said, a chameleon.
Speaking of Hawaii politics: Recently saw a big flashy add by Senator Brian Schatz telling the people of Hawaii how much federal money he’s brought into the state. I feel a need to remind everyone TANSTAAFL. “There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch.” Schatz owes somebody something for all those $$ coming to the state. That means WE the voters/constituents will have to eventually pay that bill. Wonder what it will cost.
Judging from results: U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres submitted a letter to the Security Council on Sunday proposing the immediate activation of a rapid action force following a plea for help from Haiti as gangs and protesters paralyze the country. An Associated Press (AP) investigation revealed in 2017 that more than 100 (UN) peacekeepers ran a child sex ring in Haiti over a 10-year period and none were ever jailed. The report further found that over the previous 12 years there had been almost 2,000 allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation by peacekeepers and other UN personnel around the world. Got to ask yourself which is worse, the problem or the solution.
Don’t want none, don’t start none: Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors was seen on video allegedly knocking out his teammate, Jordan Poole, earlier in the week during a Warriors’ practice. Everybody is screaming “Sucker Punch”. I say watch the video, Poole is the physical aggressor. Green is running his mouth and gets into Poole’s face. Poole then physically shoves Green and Green then knocks him the F out, as he should. Poole literally makes the first contact. Poole could have turned and walked away and there would have been 37 coaches getting between them, but he decided to initiate physical contact. He got what he asked for. It ain’t a sucker punch if the guy is looking straight at you, after his attack on you. In any other work environment, punching somebody out like this would result in the aggressor being arrested and/or immediately terminated from their job. Poole should be fired, not Green.
How low can you go? : A woman was recorded apparently pick-pocketing the body of a pedestrian who had been crushed under a tractor-trailer in Midtown — and the sickening crime has left police unable to identify him or notify his family of his death. In a video clip obtained, the suspect was seen reaching for the man’s wallet as an onlooker urged the person to continue. “Go ahead, gangsta! Go ahead!” the onlooker said. Can’t say which I find more disgusting, the thief or the cheer leader.
