Well, it’s happened: A guy in Italy became the proud owner of HIV, COVID, and Monkey Pox. All at the same time. Good luck Pal, you gonna need it.
It’s indoctrination, not education: Tuesday was the first day back for students at Denver’s South High School, and they were promptly shown a video that told them to get involved during racially motivated attacks but not to call the police. the video begins by saying, “the United States has a long history of violence against people of color, disabled people, Muslims, immigrants, and LGBTQ people.” The fourth tip of the six proposed in the video is “Avoid The Police,” despite the video being about witnessing criminal activity. “Armed police presence often escalates, rather than reduces, the risk of violence in a situation,” the video’s narrator explains. “Because police have been trained to see people of color, gender non-conforming folks and Muslims as criminals, they often treat victims as perpetrators of violence.” No cops. So that leaves group vigilantism or speaking up and maybe getting the snot stomped out of you. Denver South High School Principal Rachel Goss acknowledged that the video was shown to students. “The intention behind the school showing the video was to ‘provide empowerment for people who may witness these types of attack.” Riiiggghhht.
Regarding the PAC “Hawaii Republican Action”, or HIRA(?): You loudly cry, “it’s pointless to do endorsements when they’re probably all going to lose.” Most certainly they will with that attitude. “We’re not in the business of trying to offer false hope.” Considering you’ve attacked almost every “republican” running, just what are you in the business of? Maybe next visit time: President Emmanuel Macron said France and Algeria should move beyond their “painful” shared history and look to the future as he began a three-day visit to the former colony. If you watch “The Lost Command” with Anthony Quinn, or the black/white “Battle of Algiers” you’ll have an idea why that probably won’t happen.
It’s truly amazing: In an interview with Bill Maher, Reiner was directly asked if he thought it was right that the media buried the “Hunter Laptop” story. The normally verbose, and highly prejudiced “Meathead”, Reiner responded, “.. you know what’s not justified? Using armed violence to try to kill people in the Capitol. That’s not justified.” Then Reiner continued to evade the question and denied knowledge of the “laptop” and it’s being buried by the media. Hey Rob, the only “armed persons” atr the capitol that day were the cops. Just to remind you, the only persons killed at the capitol were protester Asley Babbitt (killed by a DC cop) and protester Rosanne Boyland (beaten to death by unnamed police officers). It’s amazing for someone who “knows everything” doesn’t seem to know anything.
