A sad Good-Bye: Taurean Blacque has died. He was 82. Blacque made guest appearances on many iconic TV shows such as “Sanford and Son,” “What’s Happening!!,” “Good Times,” “Taxi” and “The Bob Newhart Show.” He was best known for his role as “Detective Neal Washington” on the series “Hill Street Blues,” Blacque had two biological sons and adopted 11 children. He was also the spokesperson for the county of Los Angeles adoption service. “Hill Street” was one of the most awarded television programs of all time, but it’s seldom mentioned. His talent, and his work on behalf of children will be missed. Tonight, he sits at The Table of Heroes.

Alternative weaponry: Here in Hawaii there is no open carry or ccw’s. No matter what the Supreme Court says, Hawaii does it their own way. So it should be no surprise that a man accused of using a sword to chop off a man’s hand at a Waikiki convenience store has been charged with attempted murder. A witness said there was an altercation between a 7-Eleven employee and another man inside the store. He said the incident escalated, ending with the employee allegedly cutting victim’s hand off.
