Wednesday Motes, Big Shock

Why?: The last time I checked, Nasty Nancy Pelosi was an elected “representative” for the state of Calipornia, not the United States. Then why the hell is she going to Ukraine and making promises?  I can understand wanting to get out of Cali, but to go all the way to Europe? Oh, she’s speaker of the house? Okay, this from “Dictionary.com”: Speaker of the House; “The presiding officer of the United States House of Representatives. The Speaker, a member of the House, is elected by a majority party caucus. In addition to being chief spokesman for the majority party, the Speaker runs the proceedings of House debate and voting, appoints committee members, refers bills to committees for research and development, and has an influential voice in all stages of a bill’s consideration. One of the most visible and influential officials of the federal government, the Speaker is second in line, after the vice president, in succession to the presidency.” I do not see anything there that says makes deals with other countries, is involved in U.S. foreign policy, or needs to go to a war zone for some unknown reason. Could it be the 82-year-old, who has never held a job outside of politics, is deciding for “one more term”?

(High pitched Barney Fife voice) She’s a nut: Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that the recently announced head of the so-called Disinformation Governance Board, Nina Jankowicz was a “tremendous authority.” At 33 years of age, other than attending several colleges, and writing two books, I don’t see what makes her an authority, well, on anything.

Speaking of nuts: Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine said in an interview released Friday that there is no medical debate about whether children who claim they are transgender should receive “gender-affirming” care. Levine, the first openly-transgender individual in American history to serve in a Senate-confirmed position, said that the medical industry has reached a consensus on the value of gender-affirming care for transgender children. “There is no argument among medical professionals – pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, etc. – about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care.” Horse shat! You can’t get three doctors to agree the sun will come up tomorrow. This confused individual is deranged, deluded, and has an agenda. And that agenda isn’t about the health and welfare of your children.

A real expert: Cold case expert Paul Holes said there could be as many as 2,000 bloodthirsty serial killers living in the United States. Holes, who served as a forensics chief in California’s Contra Costa County, told the Post that the number is “realistic,” though it is an approximation. Holes explained that serial killers tend to prey on those who are on the fringes of society, including homeless individuals, drug addicts, and prostitutes. Holes went on to detail that murderers use the crisis as a camouflage, as less violence is required to strangle someone high on opioids as opposed to a sober victim. Pathologists may attribute the cause of death to drug use, not noticing a small bruise around a victim’s neck, or another subtle indicator that foul play was involved due to less violence being used, Holes said.  So, sleep well.

Let’s fall back sheriff, and we’ll make a plan: A controversial Oregon Republican gubernatorial candidate came to the belly of the beast to hold a rally over the weekend in Portland, and a mob of people dressed in black and looking like Antifa attacked the crowd with smoke bombs and paint and threatened to hurt anyone if they didn’t “get the f**k out!”. Two GOP activists were hurt by an exploding smoke bomb, according to police. Pulliam’s event, which his campaign oddly doesn’t appear to have touted on any of his social media accounts in advance, was steps away from the Portland Police Bureau’s headquarters and across the street from the main Multnomah County Courthouse, which is usually teeming with Multnomah County Sheriffs deputies. Pulliam’s event, which his campaign oddly doesn’t appear to have touted on any of his social media accounts in advance, was steps away from the Portland Police Bureau’s headquarters and across the street from the main Multnomah County Courthouse. Law Enforcement did show up, about 20 minutes later, after the “antifa” crowd departed.

Really? : In a big win for low wage workers, the Hawaii lawmakers approved a measure to raise the states minimum wage from $10.10 and hour to $18.00 by 2028.

Yeah, this guy is worth 18 bucks and hour.
