Needs to be put back in her place: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Monday unilaterally extended her unconstitutional proxy voting scheme. Pelosi cited Covid and said that a “public health emergency is in effect” in her announcement extending proxy voting. In September, GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy asked the US Supreme Court to overturn Speaker Pelosi’s House proxy voting. In 2020, ONE Democrat in Maryland voted SEVEN TIMES on legislation in Congress in districts he didn’t even represent. Just a reminder, Nasty Nan was elected to “represent” a district in Calipornia, not rule the country, which is what she seems to think she does. She needs to be reminded of that. Soon.
Just to clear the air a bit: Yes, I have soundly smacked someone for talking about my wife. One in public and once at a private party. Both times the individual (different individuals) make a sexual comment about my wife, to me and other men present. I have also smacked the shat out of someone who has made derogatory remarks about my M/C. Am I proud of these incidents, hell yes. These people needed to know there are consequences for their actions and words. But I travel in a different community than most people. The people I am around consider such smacking’s necessary and “corrective”. In one case, the other guy called the cops and filed a report. He effectively ostracized himself from our community. He actually told the judge I was a “very dangerous man” in order to get a “Restraining Order”. But I was aware of the repercussions of my actions and was prepared for them. In my community, a man stands up for his family, and his Club. Were there better ways for me to handle those situations, I doubt it. Would I have done different now, no. Was Will Smith right, meh. Could he have handled it different, yes. Was there a more effective way, probably. Does Will Smith hit like a little betch, absolutely.
Oh, it’s lost: First is was a made up story, then Russia misinformation, now FBI Assistant Director, cyber division, Bryan Vorndran on Tuesday said he doesn’t know where Hunter Biden’s laptop is because it’s not in his purview. This is the same laptop the FBI withheld from President Trump’s legal team during the first impeachment. Kinda like all those phones and laptops and pads from the Shilary campaign that got “washed”. If you can’t produce it, it doesn’t exist. Right? Tell that to John Paul Mac Isaac.
Once again: The new education law in Florida does not say you can’t say the word “gay”. What is says is that you can’t teach sex education before the third grade. Third grade makes the child 7 or 8 y-o. Now, a Florida teacher told MSNBC he worries that he can’t discuss his love life (his words) with his kindergarten class after Governor DeSantis signed the parental rights education bill. “It scares me that I am not going to be able to have these conversations with my children…I don’t want to have to hide that my partner and I went paddle boarding this weekend,” the teacher said. Let’s make this clear. They are not your kids. You’re a teacher, not the parent. Telling kids you went paddle boarding usually doesn’t include any description of your sexual identity or what you both do in private. There is no reason why any adult should be talking about gender identity or sexual orientation to 5- to 8-year-olds. Period. If you are, you need to get out of teaching tender aged children. If you were to discuss this content with my children, I’d make sure you got out of teaching.
What could go wrong: “The military wants AI to replace human decision-making in battle”. Obviously, they have never gotten to the “BOLO Universe”. The Bolo universe is a fictional universe based on a series of military science fiction books by author Keith Laumer. It primarily revolves around the eponymous “Bolo”, a type of self-aware AI tank. Humans come in second.
