Tuesday Motes, Meh.

Watch it, it’s great: “If we have a nuclear war, it would be worth it if we could save just one life – ONE LIFE”. “The only way to fight for our democracy is to get vaccinated while supporting Ukraine in the FIGHT.” “I was shopping at Target in the pride section, looking for a shirt for my six-year-old, openly gay-transgender nephew after I got off work at Starbucks, where I’m a barista.” These lines were delivered last Tuesday, by Comedian and Youtuber Cassady Campbell during the city council meeting in Denton, Texas. Delivered in a shrieking breathless “Karen” voice. Since being uploaded last week, his performance has been viewed over 1,000,000 times on twitter alone.  The funniest part is the city council didn’t realize it was a performance.

Same as here: Joe Biden arrived in Brussels, Belgium on Thursday for meetings with members of NATO, G-7 and the European Union. Biden was the only world leader who didn’t answer any questions upon arrival. Biden walked with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg as reporters shouting questions at him. It has been reported Biden’s handlers swatted the press away, saying “no, no, no, no.” Biden then held a solo press conference after meeting with members of NATO to discuss the Russia-Ukraine conflict, but only called upon reporters from a written pre-approved list. Even that went wrong, when Uncle Joe snapped at CBS reporter Christina Ruffini after she asked a question about deterrents. He can’t get things right even during a “fixed” event.

Just one more law: Recently there has been a bunch of shootings here in Honolulu. As you could guess, there’ll be a whole bunch of new “common sense gun control” bills trying to become laws. The problem is, none of the shooters could legally own a firearm. They were all too young or convicted criminals. In one crime, there were 2 guns drawn, and both persons were under the legal age. Making more laws, is kinda like taking someone drivers license every time someone else gets arrested for dui. Hawaii already has some of the most restrictive firearm’s legislation in the country. Passing one (or ten) more laws, will only hurt the people that DON’T commit crimes.

Remember the 3 rules:  LA police are issuing a warning to people who wear expensive jewelry, stating that thieves may target them. The warning comes after a smash and grab robbery occurred at a Beverly Hills jewelry store on Tuesday, with the thieves taking $5 million worth of items. “Over the last year there has been a marked increase of armed robberies involving victims wearing expensive jewelry while in public,” a Los Angeles Police Department statement reads. “If it is visible, it can be a target.” Wearing a $200k watch, walking down the street, I think would fall under rule #3; “Don’t do stupid things”. Or maybe #2; “Don’t go to stupid places”. No, rule #3. Definitely rule #3.

For the past year I have had Lottery tickets for the Power Ball (3x a week) and the Mega Millions (3x a week). Here are my winnings for the past year. Yep, $14.00. Not enough for a movie or a tank of gas, and it some places not even a beer.  Oh well,  maybe next year.

Lots of noise about nbc “softening” the pictures of “Lia Thomas” to make “her” look more feminine. Sorry, she’s still ugly. And still a man.

Tuesday is National Vietnam War Veterans Day, a day when Americans thank and honor all those who served in the U.S. military during the Vietnam War.

Welcome home Brothers.
