Motes For Thursday Scraps

Today, you’re guilty until you can afford to prove you are innocent.

Talk, just talk: Professor Zeus Leonardo wants a race war. His recent “twit” posting; “To abolish whiteness is to abolish white people. That’s very uncomfortable perhaps, but it asks about our definitions of what race is and what racial justice might mean.” Maybe he should kick it off. Hey Professor, come on down. I ain’t that hard to find. Pro tip: if you’re talking about annihilating, exterminating, or abolishing an entire race of people, any race, you are the bad guy.

Needs a new hobby: Authorities say a 28-year-old New York man needed to be rescued twice on consecutive days while hiking in northern Arizona. Sheriff’s officials say the man “was provided with preventative search and rescue education about the conditions on the trail and the approaching winter storm and encouraged to not attempt the hike again.” Hell, I’d encourage him to not “hike” anywhere, he isn’t too good at it.

For all you self-righteous EV owners: Where do you think all that electricity comes from? It comes from coal and oil burning power plants. Read that again, COAL and OIL burning power plants. As the use grows, so will the demand for more power plants. Soon you’ll have one on your block.

Only the news they want you to know: More than a thousand big-rig trucks, pick-ups, SUVs, passenger cars, and motorcycles circled the 64-mile Capital Beltway on Monday to demonstrate their opposition to vaccine mandates and the government’s pandemic policies. There were no traffic jams. The convoy was orderly, almost precision-like in its discipline. The protesters gave the right of way to other vehicles using the highway, staying in the right-hand lane for the entire circuit. It was peaceful. The Convoy in Canada was given hourly updates, the American Convoy, not so much. Hell, not even weakly updates. (Yeah, I know.)

Document, document, document: When the left wants to destroy you and your thinking, they start building a “case” and “file” against you. They will file numerous police reports about you. Even if the police do nothing, the only thing that will be presented is the number of “complaints”. The more complaints, the worse you look. Investigators are usually too lazy to look at the outcome of those complaints. Don’t believe me? Brain Davison is a ginger-haired 48-year-old who earned two degrees from MIT, then spent much of his career as a Navy officer. By profession, he is a nerd who specializes in “operations research,” finding ways to make organizations function more efficiently. After he had two kids, he figured he could volunteer his number-crunching skills to help their schools. And the Loudoun County school board has made him to look like a violent lunatic, a physical threat, someone who should be in jail. The actual truth, and the law, doesn’t matter to them. They don’t care. Let’s make ‘em play by their own rules. Document. Document. Document.

No surprise: The Jan6 protester, that the fbi had his son record their conversations at the family home, was convicted on 5 felony counts; Civil disorder.** Obstruction of an official proceeding and aiding and abetting.** Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds.** Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds with a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon.** Obstruction of Justice: hindering communication through physical force or threat of physical force. All these based on this son’s testimony and recorded conversation. He faces a possible 40 year sentence. “Thanks, son.”
