The Day After Tuesday Motes

Ouch: I previously mentioned Shimon Yehuda Hayut,31, who has become notorious as the “Tinder Swindler” after coning numerous women from that dating app. It would be bad enough that a cable channel does a “bio” of you, and names names and dates and cons. But to make it even worse, a British woman believed to be one of the first victims has claimed he was a ‘flop in bed’ and that she ‘had to teach him the ropes’. And of course, it’s a major story in the U.K. “Daily Mail”. I think we can say he is now a “former” con-man. Ouch.

Prediction: Already the Russian “police” have started cracking down on anti-war protesters. If they claim to have arrested 1,700 you know the number is 2 or 3 times that.  I’m thinking the “Night Wolves” will get involved. The NW’s are a very political motorcycle club, claiming some 7,000(?) members that Vlad has actually been seen riding with.  I can see the NW’s launching anti-protester actions that the officials can turn a blind eye at. You know, plausible deniability stuff. And not being “official” they can don a lot of “persuading” of the citizenry. Let’s see.

History repeats: A prominent tech guru who worked with the Clinton campaign to investigate Donald Trump’s possible links to Russia pleaded the Fifth to avoid cooperating with Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation, according to court filings. Rodney Joffe said in a deposition this month that he invoked his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination in response to a grand jury subpoena by Durham/. Like I’ve said, nobody on Shrillary’s side will ever do a day. Oh, and here’s a wonderful picture of her  in her early days of law.

Hasn’t changed much, has she?

Really: Uncle Joe won’t secure our own border. But he wants Customs and Border Patrol officers to volunteer to go to Europe to help American refugees. Wwwhhhaaattt?

No real relief: The American Rescue Plan, passed in 2021 and sold as a coronavirus-relief package, authorized $4 billion of debt relief exclusively for black and “socially disadvantaged” farmers. Part of the Biden administration’s “equity” agenda, the policy was intended to redress past discrimination in the agriculture industry. White farmers and other interested parties challenged the provision in court, arguing the federal government cannot withhold a benefit from white candidates that it affords to minority candidates on the basis of race. Those plaintiffs have thus far prevailed because, for the time being, we have a 14th Amendment with an Equal Protection Clause. Now, farmers of all colors are facing bankruptcy and foreclosure. If it were really interested in the plight of struggling farmers, the Biden administration could have provided relief to farmers with demonstrated economic need regardless of skin color. Since it isn’t, it won’t. It was all about the visual. Nothing more.
