Not in my constitution: Comedian-actress Milana Vayntrub, who is known to millions of TV viewers for playing cheerful saleswoman “Lily” in AT&T’s ubiquitous wireless commercials, has penned a personal essay in which she expresses gratitude for abortion. In her essay she states; “All of us with a uterus may soon be stripped of the constitutional right to an abortion.” Would someone, anyone, please tell me where in the Constitution it gives the right to an abortion? Please, anyone? Because I can’t find it.
Wise words from the past: Respect is taught at home. If your kid is a disrespectful little shat, it’s your fault. Not society’s, not music, not video games. YOURS. (George Carlin)
Save your money: In the past, GoFundMe has banned 1) the Canadian Freedom Convoy,2) Kyle Rittenhouse legal defense, 3) Parents targets by the Loudoun County school board, 4) Conservative students hounded at ASU. They have hosted a bail fund for the Waukesha Christmas parade drive, the one that purposely drove a vehicle at a high rate of speed into a parade. His they’ll bail. This IS who they are. Don’t use ‘em, never will.
Your tax dollars at “work”:The Health and Human Services (HHS) Department is rolling out a $30 million grant program that will fund the distribution of items, like crack pipes, for smoking illicit substances, according to a new report. The department would prioritize applicants in “underserved communities” as defined under one of President Biden’s executive orders. An HHS spokesperson reportedly told the Beacon that the grants would fund smoking kits with pipes for users to smoke crystal methamphetamine, crack cocaine and “any illicit substances.” I didn’t know junkies were an underserved community. Since possession of meth and crack are felonies, would the HHS be charged with adding and abetting? If I get arrested smoking crack in a .gov issued pipe, is that entrapment? I’m so confused.
Inmates are running the asylum: Teachers in a Denver-area school district organized a sick-out last week to protest a new conservative majority on the local school board. The protest forced Douglas County School District to cancel classes on Thursday last week while the teachers organized a protest outside the district headquarters. The newly installed conservative majority had wasted no time implementing a slew of policy changes, including eliminating the district’s mask mandate, drawing the ire of the teachers. The new board also wants to replace the current Superintendent Corey Wise. I can understand if the teachers want to keep Mr. Wise. A petition or a hearing would have been in order. But a sick-out (walk-out) says the inmates are running the asylum. Those teachers work for the school board, not the other way around. My words to the teachers, “You’re Fired”. Oh, you say, this only hurts the student? Hey, the teachers aren’t teaching anyway. Get rid of them now and start over.
Gas 2/11/22. Just 1 cent shy. What are you paying?

I’ve done it, it can be brutal: Doing stand-up comedy on stage is tough. I call it “a thousand ways to bleed in public”. I am offering up my best wishes to Comedian Heather McDonald. She recently shared video of the moment that she fainted on stage during a stand-up comedy show that resulted in a fractured skull. The 51-year-old comedian, who rose to fame through her appearances on E!’s Chelsea Lately, was performing at The Tempe Improv on Saturday night when she collapsed on stage after delivering her second joke. I could make any numbe of smart-azz comments but won’t. Get well and back on stage soon Heather. We need more laughter.
Just asking: Top U.S. House conservatives have introduced a legislative proposal to formally sanction thousands of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, including Chinese dictator Xi Jinping and his entire family. Is this really a good idea with 224 American athletes there in China?
Staying in Honolulu this weekend. Gonna eat, watch s-bowl commercials, and do as little as possible. Enjoy the story, think about the rant and I’ll see ya Monday.
