I can’t wait until someone tells the world how much pollution the “over 400” private jets at the World Climate Change Conference emitted. How about Biden’s 85 vehicle motorcade? Probably more than I did, but I have to change my life to save the planet.
He called their bluff: Ok, I think Elon Musk is more than a little “out there”. He’s out where the buses don’t make stops as far as I’m concerned. Recently he has gotten my attention for something that is good, so you won’t hear anything about it. Musk responded to a repost of a CNN article that quoted David Beasley, the director of the UN’s World Food Program, who said billionaires need to; “step up now. Six billion dollars to help 42 million people that are literally going to die if we don’t reach them. It’s not complicated,” said Beasley. There are food crises in countries like Ethiopia, Yemen and Afghanistan, and in many instances, the act of delivering food to those in need is met by resistance from governments. Musk tweeted that if the UN program can “describe on this Twitter thread exactly how $6B will solve world hunger, I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it.” He called on transparent and open accounting. That will never happen. They’ll just keep on asking, not responding to questions on expenditures, and paying themselves exorbitant salaries. The director makes somewhere in the $200K a year range.
My advice: Internal Loudoun County School Board emails show a shifting explanation about how much school board members knew about a bathroom sex assault, with one member writing to the superintendent in the wake of cover-up allegations that he might have “missed an email” informing him about it — even though he previously responded to that very email asking a follow-up question, after also hearing about the incident from someone else. Advice to Loudoun school board officials. When you’re digging a hole, and you’re in it, when you hit the bottom, stop digging.
Didn’t happen: The Racine GOP is now getting in the act. They have now identified over 23,000 voters in the 2020 Election, all with the same phone number and another 4,000 voters with the same registration date of 1/1/1918. These numbers don’t make sense. You can’t tell me that out of 4,ooo people, all over 103 years of age, they all voted Biden. Oh, and Biden won the state by less than 20,000 votes. But there was NO voter fraud, anywhere, at all.
Just for the heck of it, I watched my three favorite Raquel Welch movies this weekend. Hannie Caulder with Robert Culp, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Elam, Christopher Lee, and Strother Martin. And Kansas City Bomber with almost nobody you can remember. Mother, Juggs, and Speed with Bill Cosby, Harvey Keitel, and Larry Hagman. No reason, just wanted to watch them.

Gas 4.4.21

Gas 11.2.21. That’s up $.58 a gallon in 7 months. And we have 41 more months to go. At this rate we will be paying $8.31 a gallon by Jan. 2024. But it is entirely possible that it will be much higher and the demand goes up, and the supply goes down.
