I live on the 11th floor. If I can hear your car radio music; IT’S TOO DAMN LOUD.

It will be a made for tv movie:  Four people from the St. Paul area were found shot to death Sunday in an SUV abandoned in a western Wisconsin cornfield. The Sheriff’s Office said they were alerted Sunday afternoon by a farmer who called 911 about a black SUV with Minnesota plates left in a cornfield off a rural road near the town hall on County Road VVV in the Town of Sheridan, about 65 miles east of St. Paul. among the dead were Matthew Pettus, 26, and Jasmine C. Sturm, 30, both of St. Paul. The others killed were Sturm’s boyfriend, 35-year-old Loyace Foreman III, and 30-year-old Nitosha Flug-Presley, of Stillwater, a close friend of Sturm’s.  I can see the opening camera shot.

He deserves more: The oldest known living World War II veteran celebrated his 112th birthday with a socially distanced, drive-by celebration at his home in New Orleans Sunday. Lawrence Brooks was honored on his birthday, September 12, with a Jeep parade, cake, and performances from the National WWII Museum “Victory Belles” as well as other local musicians. Brooks served in the predominantly African American 91st Engineer Battalion, which was stationed in New Guinea and the Philippines during the war. God Bless Lawrence. God Bless.

This is a wrong decision: The Minnesota Supreme Court has reversed the third-degree murder conviction of former Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor. Noor was convicted of second-degree manslaughter and third-degree murder for shooting and killing Justine Damond in 2017. The state’s supreme court ruled Wednesday that Noor’s actions were directed “with particularity,” and therefore did not meet the “depraved-mind” requirement for third-degree murder. Noor could potentially get credit for time served and be released. He could also be released in late 2021 or early 2022. He killed a woman because he was afraid of the dark. He was a token hire and it cost a young woman her life. He should have never been a leo.

Last week: The widow of U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Rylee McCollum, who was one of 13 servicemembers killed in a terror attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, last month, gave birth Monday to a baby girl, Levi Rylee Rose, at Camp Pendleton in California. Welcome to the world Levi Rose. Be assured your Dad sits at the Table of Heros.

In a time long ago, people met in parks, pubs and churches to formulate a revolution. Consider where you are not allowed to meet now.
