Ever.
It’s a mental illness: A recent “adults only” site showed a “Couple in search of Men” listing. After describing themselves, the couple says they want “white/middle eastern men”, “confident and dominant behind closed doors”, “thick a plus” but “Trumpers pass on by”.
Represents me, my azz: The WH this week gave Uncle Joe the greenlight to move forward with removing a Trump-era health care policy designed to bring down the price of insulin. Biden’s bid to retract the rule was approved on Monday. This does not just effect insulin. It effects all med’s. And now they will all go up again. I’ve seen meds go from $21 a month to over $400 in one step. That’s after the med insurance payment. Again, they have shown they don’t care for you and me. They only care about the big donors, like the “pharma-bro’s”.
All is forgiven, because you know: Jeffrey Toobin returned to CNN on Thursday afternoon and admitted that masturbating during a zoom call — which got him fired from the New Yorker and led to a “leave of absence” from the network — was “deeply moronic and indefensible.” His defense, “I didn’t think other people could see me,” is weak and lame.
And that’s the problem: Recently I heard someone express, “That’s the truth, but nobody wants to hear it”. That may be correct. Just remember, not listening to it, doesn’t make it any less true.
They were heros: A new book “about” the Alamo is making the rounds. In it, In their quest to make a buck, the authors take great umbrage (love that word) with John Wayne and calling his 1960 movie a “font of misinformation.” I hate to bring this up, but what part of it being a “movie” is unclear? It’s Hollywood, not academic studies. I don’t like folks trying to make a buck by beating up the dead, especially the dead I would consider hero’s. They stood when they didn’t have to, and they stood tall. They were bravery personified. I won’t be adding this one to my “read now” list.
