It’s hard to know what to rant about.
We have a president that speaks in bumper sticker sentences.
A state governor that has no idea how to get the state back on track.
We have a former mayor, who solidly screwed the city and county, that has all but formally announced he wants to be the next governor.
A state “representative” calling for unity, right after we destroy another man’s future
Those in government have forgotten that they were elected to represent the people, not govern them.
Those burning down cities are “mostly peaceful” and he who urged “everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard” is accused of sedition and insurrection.
An unarmed woman is shot and killed, in the nations capital, the entire incident video recorded, and 26 days later the name of the killer is still unreleased. There have been no riots or protests in her name. Ashli Babbitt, remember her name.
I would love to retire, but the medication required by my loved one and myself, now costs more than my mortgage and there seems to be no desire but those in power to control the steady increase.
A woman that once declared “If you understood what Communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that one day we would become Communist”, is now receiving Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement honor for her acting, activism, and philanthropy.
I got no idea where to start. I think I’ll open a bottle of Sexton Irish Whiskey and think about it.
