Tuesday Motes To Ponder

Yes, of course: We must unite. We must make a stronger America. We must identify all Trumpsters, destroy them as quickly as possible, so we can unite.

Remember Ashli Babbitt.

A sad Good-bye, last week: Baseball GREAT Tommy Lasorda, 93. Member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Lasorda suffered caridopulmonary arrest at his home Thursday night. Lasorda had a record of 1,599-1,439 while managing the Dodgers from 1976-96. One of the truly greats. His joy and love of the game will be missed by all fans.

A smart actor: As many on the left applaud Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to indefinitely ban President Donald Trump from Facebook and Instagram, some are realizing that the Silicon Valley billionaire’s decision sets a dangerous precedent for the freedom of speech. One such person is actress-model Emily Ratajkowski, who risked the scorn of her Hollywood peers and the mainstream media by expressing her concern about Zuckerberg’s decision to blacklist the president. “This gives Facebook/tech/Zuck THE MOST POWER. If he can shut the president up/off he can shut any of us up/off.” I usually have nothing but snark for Hollywierd, but I agree with her and applaud Ms. Ratajkowski and her courage to go against her peers.

Not again : The lt. governor of Hawaii is again “asking” for everyone to stay at home and not gather due to Covid cases. Hey Seth, we’ve been staying at home since March 2020. This is getting kinda old.

Law non-enforcement: The KGB NVD fbi has issued a list of the “MAGA Most Wanted”. Big fan fare and roll-out. Then they hinted that President Trump might be added to the list. I have several copies of the BLM/Antifa wanted posters. Oh wait, those are blank pieces of paper, they never issued any. I don’t have to list all the hypocrisy committed by the fbi, it would take too long and too many motes.

You will not change the world by asking politely.
