Sunday Rant – Storyteller

cour·age

noun

1) the ability to do something that frightens one. “She called on all her courage to face the ordeal”

2) strength in the face of pain or grief. “He fought his illness with great courage”

No, I wasn’t surprised at the SCOTUS did not hear the Texas lawsuit. To hear it would have taken courage from the justice’s, there is none.

Nor was I surprised when the “electoral college” elected Biden. I didn’t expect the proof of election fraud and the evidence of tampering with vote counts and election machines to alter the results of this “election”. To do so would mean state politicians would have to display courage and go against the “power hungry” Democrat party. They won’t.

Sitting politicians have taken to threatening opposition voters with impunity. In fact, it seems anyone can threaten anyone without fearing any consequences, as long as the person being threatened is of the “other” party. To threaten and insult does not take courage. It only takes a lack of a moral compass. It takes courage to have a moral code and compass.

I truly am sad at the loss of the “Right to Challenge” and “seek satisfaction”. To quote, ”An armed society is a polite society.” A man will choose his words carefully if he has to defend them with his life. I’m ready, they aren’t. It will get ugly before it gets better.
