The first time I voted in a Presidential election, I had already done two tours “over seas” and felt I had earned that right. “Starship Troopers” has always been one of my favorite reads, and Heinlein felt the privilege of voting had to be earned with “service”. I believe voting should be limited to “citizens” and just being here doesn’t make you a citizen. I don’t care who you vote for, as long as you vote.
