Tuesday Motes To Ponder

A really good question: Where is Hunter Biden’s money? If all the allegations are true, he has been paid a shat load of money in the past 6 years. Where is it? Is this where Joe gets some of his $4.3 million that he declared in his 2019 taxes? Joe Biden earned almost twice as much in 2017 as in the prior 19 years combined.  His federal tax returns from 2016 to 2019, these are essentially shell documents with no detail regarding the majority of his income earned since leaving office. In total, $13.5 million of the Biden couple’s $17.0 million flowed to their tax returns via upstream S Corporations: CelticCapri Corp (his), and Giacoppa Corp (hers), with over 90 percent from his entity. Hunter’s tax returns are not available. Hummmmmm.

If Presidents were calibers; Ford, a .38 snub(ed) nose; Obama, a .44 not-so-special; Trump .45 A Clear President.

A little over reaction: A store security guard in Chicago was allegedly stabbed 27 times after asking two women to wear masks while shopping. Now the two women, who are sisters, are being held without bond. The sisters, identified as Jessica and Jayla Hill, are accused of attacking the security guard on Sunday. The guard asked the women to wear masks and use hand sanitizer, and one of the women punched him, the AP reports. Then, Jessica Hill allegedly pulled a knife out of her pocket. Jessica allegedly stabbed the guard in the back, chest and arms, while her sister held him by his hair. The sisters’ court-appointed attorney said the stabbing was self-defense. The lawyer also said both women suffered from a bipolar disorder, according to the AP. Well then, it’s okay.

Another one bites the dust: Kelly Kean Sharp resigned Tuesday from her assistant professorship at Furman University following accusations that she pretended to be non-white, a university spokesman said. An anonymous person outed the African American history scholar. Sharp reportedly formerly identified herself as Chicana in her Twitter profile, which has since been removed. She was from the well-to-do, 97% white hometown of Encinitas, CA, “known to anyone from California for being a wealthy beach community.”  Why would she claim this , you ask. Perhaps it was to help her tenure fast track.  Or she just hates her wealthy white family.

Words to ponder: At least once every human should have to run for his life, to teach him that milk does not come from supermarkets, that safety does not come from policemen, that ‘news’ is not something that happens to other people. He might learn how his ancestors lived and that he himself is no different—in the crunch his life depends on his agility, alertness, and personal resourcefulness. — Robert A. Heinlein

In 1963 I read my first Bond book, “The Spy That Loved Me”. I was hooked. Then I saw “Dr. No”, and I’ve seen every one since. But to me, Sean Connery will always be “Bond”. Farewell Sr. Sean. You will indeed be missed.
