Motes For Tuesday

Welcome back; The Tasmanian devil, the feisty marsupial that only resided on the island of Tasmania for the last 3,000 years, has been reintroduced into Australia’s mainland for the first time in 3,000 years. Earlier this month, 11 devils, along with six other species of small mammals, were released into a large preserve, where they’ll be able to roam free, forage for their own food and act as they would in the wild. Wonderful. Can the Tasmanian Tiger be far behind? I highly recommend you watch “The Hunter” with Willem DeFoe. A good movie, a great performance, and something to sit and talk about after. Over whiskey of course.

I didn’t watch so I won’t miss’em: ESPN parasite Keith Olbermann returned to political commentary on Wednesday, demanding that President Donald Trump’s “reign of terror over us must end.” In the first of what he promised would be a daily video, the ex-MSNBC and ESPN commentator wasted no time in lacing into Trump’s mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic. Olbermann titled his series “The Worst Person In The World.” These people are under the impression that what they say, think, and do matters to someone.

The way I feel: Joe Biden said voters “don’t deserve” to know whether he will pack the Supreme Court if he and vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris are elected in just a few weeks. If that’s how you feel Joe, in my opinion, you don’t deserve to be elected. Simple ain’t it.

Let’s get our names straight here: Headline says, ”Denver Local News Bodyguard Who Killed Trump Supporter Bragged About Harassing and Confronting Conservatives in the Past”.  This individual is not a “bodyguard”, at best he was a “security” guard, and at worse a “hired thug”. The Denver Police said that “the suspect is a private security guard with no affiliation with Antifa.” Another report called the shooter “a contractor”. This bum was a hired thug. Period, end of statement. Now he’s a murderer. The MSM need to cut back on the “euphemisms” a lot.

Some very good friends recently presented me with this beautiful painting of Navarre. The original was done by Steven Huie, of Flyrite Tattoo. I literally broke into tears upon receiving it. Adam and Holly, you really are very special friends. I cannot express how much this means to me. Contact me for Steven’s e-mail if you’re intrested.
