Recent headline in the Honolulu newspaper: “Tourism Is Down”. Hey, Einstein, the state has been “closed” for over 5 months. The beaches are closed. You can’t walk the scenic trails. The bars and nightclubs are closed. When you land, you have to stay in your hotel room for 14 days. The party luau’s have been shut down. Even the hookers are staying home. Just why would anyone come to Hawaii anyway? And how much are they overpaying you to come up with this “headline”?
Disturbing: I’ve been watching the Amazon Prime “The Last Narco”, the story of DEA agent Kiki Camarena’s kidnapping, interrogation, and murder. Some of the actual Mexican “police” officers and “Narco’s” appear on screen and tell their tales of murder, betrayal, and the Federal Police involvement. Most disturbing to me, is to watch this individual, Godoy, on camera dressed in a tactical ballistic vest with a badge, and a long-sleeved shirt with US Air Force staff sergeant stripes. He talks about torturing and killing innocent people with a look on his face that travels between seeming remorse, and almost pride. My only question, why is this pos still alive? Much of it I was familiar with as I knew some DEA people involved, but I was not aware of the extent of the involvement of the Mexican Government and the CIA. It is not for the weak of heart.
Just what did they expect: Cities are in flame, while the “news” tells us it’s mostly peaceful. Cops can’t/won’t get involved in groups demanding peaceful diners stand and deliver a “peaceful” power salute. People are being pummeled in the street for wearing the wrong hat. So when I see the headline,
“Vigilante group activity on the rise, worrying law enforcement and watchdog groups” All I can say is “What did you expect”?
Sick I am: Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said on Monday on MSNBC that President Donald Trump “literally loves the chaos” going on in Kenosha, WI and Portland, OR. I am literally sick of people who can’t use the word literally, correct. Especially those that should know better, you know, people that literally speak for a living.
Just asking: According to a report via Pro Football Talk, a source with knowledge of the situation says that the NFL will allow players to display the names of those killed in officer-involved altercations on the helmet padding. Now, will that be the names of only black “victims”? Will they include the “victims” that shot at cops first? Will that include those “victims” that were under pursuit for killing or raping a kid? Just asking for a friend.
