Forget Florida man, now there’s Florida monkey:A roving band of feral, herpes-ridden monkeys is roaming across northeast Florida.The STD-addled rhesus macaques had previously been confined to Silver Springs State Park near Ocala, Florida, but are now being spotted miles away in Jacksonville, St. Johns, St. Augustine, Palatka, Welaka and Elkton, Florida.Over a quarter of the 300 feral macaques — an invasive species native to South and Southeast Asia — carry herpes B, according to a 2018 survey, National Geographic reported.The monkeys were introduced to the area in the 1930s by a local cruise operator, Colonel Tooey’s Jungle Cruise, which released 12 monkeys over a series of years onto a man-made island inside Silver Springs State Park. You can justify anything: Lots of adverse comments on the SB half-time show. Most of what I’ve read are unhappy about the R-rated performance by “J-Lo” and Shakira. Have no fear, you all just don’t understand how much higher their thinking is. Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez claims that her scantily clad, pole-spinning halftime show was all about “working moms and single mothers.” I guess all single working mothers should be “pole trained” so they can live the “J-Lo” life-style.
How not to get witness’: It’s being reported that recent crime victims and witness’ are being arrested for any outstanding warrants, even misdemeanor, as they show up at the courthouses to testify, and now even at the Grand Jury hearings. At least one victim, of an assault and car-jacking, says he won’t come back and testify. The prosecutor’s office says it’s a new policy, effective now. Someone else pointed out the “sheriffs” are no longer at Mauna Kea and are dealing with the warrant “backlog”. “Dealing with the backlog” means they have to justify their funding.
Deepest heart felt sympathy to Rush Limbaugh and Shannen Doherty both have disclosed they have stage 4 cancer (Rush’s is lung cancer and Shannen’s is a return of breast cancer.) I have some small experience with damn cancer. My prayers for both of them.
