Motes of A Feather

No win: Phony attack victim Jesse Smoulett says he shouldn’t have to pay the City of Chicago for the police investigation into his phony race crime. How was he supposed to know they would really investigate his “crime”, and so thoroughly? Everyone knows cops is nothin’ more than doughnut eatin’ civil employee’s jus’ tryin’ to get along. No Jesse, most cops are hard working dedicated men and women who do a job you couldn’t handle on your best day. They did what they were supposed to do, investigate and find the culprit. Too bad that culprit was you. Now comes the time to reap what you have sown.

Presented without comment: Scheduled to appear at an “all age, public art festival” in Grand Rapids MI, a British group named “Drag Syndrome”. The group is comprised of “Drag Queens” with Downes Syndrome. That’s all I’m going to say on this.

On a similar topic: A Catholic college has canceled its “annual drag show” after a student newspaper column spoke out against it. The show, at John Carroll University, a Jesuit school in Ohio, has been done since 2013. Finally, someone, a student, questioned if it was a good idea to “hire grown men to dress up as women on a Catholic campus”. Does “deviant entertainment” have any place at a place for education? The writer has been called all the usual names, hater, divisive, and bigot. The” vice-president of diversity, equity, and inclusion” of the “student government” says she disagrees with canceling the show, “a major cultural event” on campus. The students now tell the college what they want and when they want it. I wonder how much those parents are paying for this “education”. It does sound like at least one student is thinking. And what the hell is a vice-president of diversity, equity, and inclusion ?

Anybody watching “No One Saw A Thing”? It starts off with the killing of Ken Rex McElroy in 1981 in the town of Skidmore, MO. I remember the incident because, well, I’m old. If you don’t know the story, it was the town that killed the bully. But the stuff that has happened in the town since then that makes this a compelling bit of television, and life. Highly recommend for that Sunday morning binge.

Regarding those suing WalMart in El Paso for failing to have armed guards to protect them;See post of August 27, rule 20,“No One Is Coming To Save You.”

My British romance letter for the week: I’m Pregnant after mum-in-law poked holes in my condoms.” Well, go poke holes in hers.

Now for something completely irrelevant; Jim Carrey and anything he says.

As of now, the legal actions against our former Chief of Police, is breaking down to about 70 cents for every resident of Oahu. Your money is paying for his legal bills. Am I the only one thinking this is WRONG. Oh, and semi-disgraced C&C Prosecutor Keith Kaneshiro has announced he is not running for re-election. Whew, I was sweating that one.
