Motes Along The River

Headline: “I visited Epstein’s island but I didn’t see any girls.” Is that like I smoked pot once, but I didn’t inhale? My My MY , how the roaches are scurrying to find darkness.

Is your family name “Elliott”? If it is, you’ll want to head up to Hamilton MT for the “Bitterroot Celtic Games & Gathering”, which this year is honoring the Clan Elliott. Games are Aug 17-18. Good time will be had by all.

Amazon Prime Day: How did I ever get by without a “Hand Held Vegetable Spiralizer” or a “BAKblade 1.0” back hair removal and body shaver? I dunno. Just lucky I guess.

Per Democrat REP.
AYANNA PRESSLEY: “If you’re not prepared to come to that table and represent that voice, don’t come, because we don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice.” What we really don’t need is elected Representatives that don’t represent those that “elected” them.

News I did not know, and probably don’t care about: July 20 is “World Snake Day”. That there is a “world day” for snakes does not surprise me, I just don’t like snakes. Remind me to tell you the story of my friend Phil Banner and the Waimanalo python some time.

A Sad Loss:
To the world and the world of music. South African performer Johnny Clegg has passed at 66. He showed a performer can be part of the solution, without being an asshxxe. Much too young, Maybe He needed a new voice.

Give Me A Break:
Mazie Hirono (D-HI) said Democrats have a difficult time “connecting” with voters because of “how smart we are” that “we know so much.” “We have a really hard time doing that,” Hirono lamented, “and one of the reasons it was told to me at one of our retreats was that we Democrats know so much, that is true. And we have kind of have to tell everyone how smart we are”. Mazie I have one question, without asking any staff or google; How much is a loaf of bread in Honolulu? No idea? I didn’t think so. And “we” keep electing her.(Thanks to Real Clear Politics)

  1. That island is not so popular right now. Lots of names we know have been to that island many times and of course there weren’t any girls there. Right.

You’re spot on about Mazie Hirono. She makes me cringe every time she opens her mouth.

    Have a fabulous day. 🙂
