Interesting read: inconcienenthistory.com; Mortality of Soviet Prisoners of War in German Captivity, during World War II. Not what I was taught in history classes. Absolutely not what anyone in school after 1990 was taught. An interesting read.
Recently I commented that the death of an El Salvadorian father and his infant daughter were not the fault of my countries immigration policy but rather caused by bad decisions by the father. Finally someone has decided to accept blame and not blame everyone else. The President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele says the blame rests at his country’s feet. “They fled El Salvador, they fled our country. It is our fault.” Finally, someone willing to accept responsibility. Now, if he can live up to his “plans” and make a country people don’t want to leave. Big IF. At least it’s a positive step. A better step would be if all the immigrants knew they couldn’t just walk across the border. You know, maybe with a wall in the way. Or something like that.
Is it just me, or have vacations in the Caribbean gotten a whole lot more dangerous lately? Killed on a fishing trip to Belize. Dominican Republic seems to be working on a no tourist plan. Anywhere in Mexico, but especially the Gulf Coast seems to be fairly dangerous. Now, two missing on Barbados. Seems like a good time for a “staycation” don’t it?
It does appear that murder is the number one cause of Rapper Death.
First she uses staged photographs pretending to be visiting an “Immigration concentration camp”. Then releases a hysterical report about conditions at another camp. A report found to be provably false after a group of Pastors toured the same camp and found nothing like AOC described. In fact, some told one of the Pastors the sources from whom the negative coverage originated “never toured the areas of the facility and speculated they might have had political motivations. Political motivations, AOC, a sitting member of the House of Representatives? I’m shocked I tell you. Simply shocked.
Nike has caved to Kaepernick regarding the “Betsy Ross shoes”. Doing a little checking, Kaepernick is worth about 20 million dollars. However, he donates about 100 K a month to diverse charities. Okay, he is putting his money where his mouth is. But is he really doing any good? That is an unanswerable question.
