One Liner Motes

Once again my heart is torn. This weekend’s skydiving crash brought back the memories of the 1981 incident. (See my post of Aug 13, 2018 Free Fallin’). The loss of another plane full of jumpers is deeply felt.

The service for VNV M/C Jesse “Chief” Baker was held Friday at Punchbowl. There were representatives from several patched clubs, as there should be. Chief was one of the Hawaii founders of the VNV and was a driving force behind making them what they are today. In the 80’s and 90’s Chief was behind bringing many of the local “bush vets” out and back into society. He was a strong man, a humble warrior, and my friend. He will be sorely missed.

On an unfortunate note, My love and respect to members of the Jarheads M/C for their loss this weekend. A driver of a pickup truck drove into the club while on the hiway in New Hampshire killing seven brothers and sisters. My condolences and prayers.

Golf is supposed to be a relaxation. Except in California where an argument over a golf game ended up with 5 dead and a burned-out mobile home. Shoulda just given him the mulligan.

Beth Chapman, wife of Dwayne Chapman of A&E television fame, is in a medically induced coma in her cancer battle. Prayers to the entire family.

And the “Has-Been Tour” begins. Rosanne Barr and Andrew Dice Clay are going on a “comedy “tour. I use quotes because let’s face it, neither one is that funny.
