Political Motes

I don’t understand. Mueller is appointed to conduct an investigation. He does so. Barr, as Attorney General, issues his opinion of that report, and releases the actual report, but Barr is a “Liar”. I don’t get it.

I really don’t get Mazie Hirono. She has never had any “real” job. She has been at the political trough her entire “career”. She had a law license but hasn’t practiced since 1980.  She’s never had to make payroll, pay medical co-pays’ and I’ll bet she can’t tell you the price of a loaf of bread in Honolulu or anywhere else in Hawaii. Recently, she opens her mouth and embarrasses the state of Hawaii repeatedly. Won’t anyone run against her? Please?

I was recently asked what I thought of the Hawaii Republican Party and why they can’t win. You mean other than the Democrat strangle hold on Hawaii government?

They have had nothing to say.

I did not know what made Tupola different than Ige. I didn’t know on what or where she stood. She just didn’t seem to have much to say. There were a lot of “town hall” type meetings, sign waving, litter pick-ups but no public statements that I heard. Her running mate had several “Pay to play”, and “I remember my password” ads, but she came off half crazed and not really sounding very Lieutenant Governorish.

The Dem’s didn’t bother to say anything because they were the incumbents and that usually means the same as elected.

So there you have it. There appeared to be no difference between the candidates, no arguments, no “I will do ..” statements from the either side.

Republicans, you gotta speak up. Like my dear old Granny used to say, “If you don’t blow your own horn, nobody will ask you to join the band.”

  1. This is about getting rid of Trump. They thought this investigations would do that. The new AG threw a monkey wrench into an investigation that would have gone on until the 2020 election. Barr made that go away.

Have a fabulous day and week. 🙂
